My New Goals

I know goals need to be S.M.A.R.T. and the following items don't really fit the criteria... so let's call this my Goal/To Do list.
  1. Sell our appliances on Craig's List.
  2. Finish unpacking boxes.
  3. Get ready for big indoor sale at old house.
  4. Create a loose daily routine.
  5. Spend more time with God on a daily basis.
  6. Pare down the # of blogs in my Google Reader.
  7. Work on preparing healthy meals for our family.
  8. Carve out time for physical activity so I can lose my baby weight.
There are plenty more things I need to add to this list, but I'm going to stick with these and see how things go.

Do you have any ideas or suggestions for how I can accomplish any of these tasks? What did you do in a similar circumstance?

  1. In answer to carving out time for physical activity...what worked best for me was getting up earlier than everyone and doing it then. I began my routine about 5 yrs ago - and still do it early in the morning. If the kids woke up while I was exercising - my dh would give them breakfast (and 5 yrs later he still is in charge of breakfast). This really helped a lot - having the exercise early meant I couldn't keep putting it off throughout the day - and when I was done - I was done early and could concentrate on everything else.

  2. great post! I'm in a similar circumstances. Go delete some blogs so you are not tempted....then put your bible on the kitchen table.

    At least you made a list. That's the first step! Good luck...
