Entering the Bloggy Giveaway paid off for me again this quarter!

Andrea from Momma in FlipFlops e-mailed me to let me know I won a household set of Safety Caps. These are caps used to plug up electrical outlets. What makes them different is their size. They are wider than typical caps sold at big box baby stores, which means they do not present a choking hazard, like standard caps.

This is great timing for us since Charlotte is almost 1-year old and tries to get into everything.

The caps are courtesy of the company that makes them. This next piece of advice is courtesy of my husband. Did you know that if you install these caps, along with outlet insulators, you can help the environment? Yep. Air leaks in and out of the outlet openings just as easily as if you left the window open (though in arguably smaller quantities). By sealing the gap with insulators and caps, you can add a couple of drops back to the electricity bucket.

This giveaway is now closed. The winner has been contacted. My baby girl LOVES yogurt. I try to give her some every morning to go with her fruit and cheerios. I started out buying the Stonyfield Farms yogurt because I wanted to avoid a ton of extra sugar. I have been slowly trying to phase high fructose corn syrup out of our diets and would like to keep it out of Charlotte's from the very beginning.
