Charlotte is Grown

Now that Charlotte is all of one years old, she thinks she is grown.

First, she slept from 7 pm until 3 am Sunday night. That has NEVER happened!

Then, she woke up this morning and decided to hang out on the couch and watch a little TV.

    Amber: mom, you are ruining my life! I should be able to do what ever I want. I am hiring a maid when I grow up!
    Me: lol...come here Amber, have a seat, let's talk about this logically honey, shall we?
    Amber: oaky (head low and arms folded)
    Me: Honey....you must first have a life before I can ruin it. So, when you "grow up" and get your life, come back and we'll talk.
    Amber: ARGH....while she stormed off to her room to sulk.

    LOL....ah, the soon to be a teenager!

    Babies are cute - and I loved them when they were small...but they got more "fun" as they got older and became more interactive and communicative ;) One year old is a fun age - so many new things they begin to do...talking/walking/becoming little people instead of being a baby. It's kind of sad - but exciting at the same time.

    Edi - You are exactly right! Sad yet exciting all at the same time. She is sooo... much more fun now than she was at 6 months. I love watching her discover new things.
