Giveaway: Shopping at BJ's

Right before Christmas, I was given a $25 gift card to try out shopping at BJ's Wholesale Club. It took me a couple of weeks before I got to visit the nearest club, but I am glad I did. My only experience with this type of store is Sam's Club, and I find that I can often match or beat their prices by using coupons at my regular stores.

I was surprised to learn that BJ's Wholesale Club takes coupons. Not only that, but they give you coupons to use in store and you can stack store and manufacturer's coupons! I went back this week and bought Pull-ups at my target price, but in 2 large boxes instead of several small packages. They also have a nice selection of baked goods and carry some children's toys that I haven't seen other places.

Get Back to the Table

Does your family eat dinner together on a regular basis? Do you sit down together at the table to eat? Are the meals prepared by your family? I am so glad that I can answer yes, yes, and yes to these questions. But I will admit, that, until this summer, we rarely sat together at the table to eat. For most of our married life actually, Bruce and I sat in the living room and watched TV while we ate dinner. Now that we have Charlotte and don't have as much free time in the evenings, I insist that the three of us eat dinner together, with the TV off. It has helped me feel more connected to my family, as small as it is, to know that we will have those 30-45 minutes of uninterrupted time together each day.
