Happy New Year! Happy New Organization!

2012 is the year I will get a handle on my clutter and my organization.

Get the point. I am determined to make it happen this year by continuing some of the steps I started taking in 2011. Things that have worked for me so far include monthly menu planning, redoing my entryway, decluttering, and the FlyLady.

To keep my mind focused on my goal for 2012, I woke up and once I got my Keurig going, I cleaned out my spice organizer. Now, all of my old spices have been ditched and the spices that are left are alphabetized so I can easily find them. The next step is to put them away in the right spot!

And yes, I love using over the door shoe organizers to keep things in their place. I even have one in my bedroom that holds all of my scarfs. The girls have one in their room that holds little shoes that are out of season or blankets for their baby dolls.

Also, thanks to Pinterest, I am going to do something similar to this 40 bags in 40 days challenge. Here's my list of 31, for each of the days in January:
