Mystery Giveaway
This giveaway is now closed.
As I sat around trying to think what would be the best prize to giveaway on the last day of Holiday Handouts, I decided it definitely needed to be holiday themed. That is, after all, kind of the point of this week.
Before I reveal the awesome prize, let me re-cap the giveaways that you can still enter.
Monday's Giveaway - Three The Secret Mountain Books
Tuesday's Giveaway - Norton PC Tune Up
Wednesday's Giveaway - 2 Packs Bella Sara Trading Cards
Thursday's Giveaway - Home is Calling Pilsbury Gift Pack
Now, onto my finale. I am giving away a Christmas-themed gift basket worth at least $50. I can't show you a picture because the contents are a surprise, but it will include items for the home that everyone can use. Younger. Older. Single. Married. With kids or without. I have already purchased some of the items and thought I'd tease you by mentioning that I bought something at the Yankee Candle Company and at Hallmark!
Even though I can't show you the basket, I promise it will knock your socks off! (But don't worry, I have a solution for that too!)
I will randomly draw 1 winner next Monday. There are three ways to enter and you can do any of them you like, for up to three entries:
- Leave a comment telling me the 1 item that you think a holiday gift basket like this should have in order to be complete,
- Subscribe to my RSS feed, and leave a 2nd comment telling me you did so, or already are subscribed, and
- Link to my giveaway on your own blog, leaving another comment with the permalink to you post.
Don't miss any of my upcoming giveaways -

Hmmmm...I think the basket should include something to do with holiday baking. Maybe some fun cup cake wrappers, cookie cutters, etc.

I love making up gift baskets. Growing up there was a little gift basket making store in our little town that I loved going to. I'd buy a few things and make up my own basket - and I'm still doing that today!
ReplyDeleteIf it's a holiday basket I'd say it HAS to have at least one candy cane...
A Christmas basket would surely have at least one ornament in it, even a small one.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!

I think this basket needs something inspirational like a book of quotes...and CHOCOLATE! :)
ReplyDeleteI actually like Anna's idea...christmas wrappers, or Christmas colored funfetti cake mix (sold at target and other stores)

i like smdrm's idea about including a christmas ornament. it's kind'a hard to think of something else after that... so i thought how about a few candy canes, tie them together with a red ribbon or hang them along the edges of the basket!

ReplyDeleteOh I am full of ideas!
ReplyDeleteSomething that smells like Christmas - candles/soap/lotion...
Something that sounds like Christmas - CD or maybe a bell ornament
Something that looks like Christmas - ornament or other type of decoration
Something that tastes like Christmas, like peppermint hot chocolate or just plain chocolate
Something that feels like Christmas - warm and fuzzy (scarf, bear, etc.)
OK, I'll stop right there! I am just really missing the Christmas aroma and atmosphere right now!
And I'm subscribed to your feed.
ReplyDeleteTo me Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without baking, so something fun & Christmas baking related!
ReplyDeleteIt should have chocolate!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
I would say one of two things: hot cocoa with marshmallows or a christmas smelling candle (choco chip, pumpkin pie, candy cane), and Yankee candle would definitely have those scents! Gotta say it is an exciting giveaway.
ReplyDeleteMy ideas have already been said, but I will say them anyway ;). Definitely a pretty lil ornament (nothing expensive, just pretty or cute) and maybe a Christmassy book of quotes or poems or even just a Christmas Crossword book ;) something for momma to take a few minutes for herself with ;) (or any type of Christmas CD...there are some great ones out there for VERY inexpensive! Even dollar tree carries some!)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win!
:) and I am a subscriber via email ;)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway...I love that it is a surprise! Hmmm...I love the ornament idea, too - I love taking our ornaments out and remembering where they came from! A dish towel/hand towel would be cute, too. Thanks for a fun giveaway!

Most of my ideas have been taken - chocolate for sure! Small ornament, lotion, soap, or body spray. Perhaps a small holiday pin or earrings? Or stylish barrette? Coffee, or hot cocoa?

Since the holiday season can be stressful, I think a holiday basket should include some pampering products, candles and chocolate.
ReplyDeleteI suscribe to your feed and I have your button on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI think a holiday gift basket should definitely have a candle in it. I always have candles burning but especially around the holidays.
ReplyDeleteSomething that smells like Christmas........a candle, or soap, or cookies maybe?
