Homeschool Links
I know that Charlotte is less than 1 year old, but Bruce and I have always planned to homeschool our children. I won't get into the why of it here, but I've accumulated a long list of blog posts that I want to save as a reference and I thought that some of my readers might find them interesting, so I am posting them below. Some of them are a little old because they've been sitting in my starred items for Google Reader until I found time to compile them all in once place.
- Sites for Toddlers - Linky-love post from Baby Cheapskate of websites that babies and toddlers might enjoy with the help of a parent.
- 36 YouTube Videos - Linky-love post from The Mom Crowd of kid-friendly YouTube videos. I haven't watched these yet, so make sure you view before sharing with your little ones.
- Unboxing Munchkin Education - Janel, a Frugal Hack, provides secrets to finding free or nearly-free homeschooling resources.
- Special Needs Homeschooling - I may never need to know this for my own personal use, but it seems valuable, so I am saving and sharing it.
- Learning for Little Ones - BabyChaser has started a new Thursday link-up focusing on home education for toddlers. I know I'll be using this one sooner than most of the rest.
If you have found any beneficial homeschooling links or sites, please leave it in the comments so we can all benefit from it. Thanks!
I have been really impressed with hubbardscupboard.com and all her resources for teaching little ones. I haven't actually used any of her ideas yet, but they are so comprehensive and well laid out,and really solid. She's got stuff for all ages on there too - check it out. I think it rocks!
